So yesterday I had a child throw up on the bus...again...projectile style. Today I had a kid tell me I ruined his day(he's 4, how bad could it be??), and when we arrived at his house he proceeded to throw a snowball at my face...in front of his mother! What a wonderful child. Normally he is pretty wonderful, smiley, and happy. However, he was having a bad day to start with (according to his teacher), and when I didn't put him in his regular seat on the bus, he decided he didn't like me so much. In fact, he probably hated me. I told him that to lift him over the other little girl to get to his seat wasn't very easy, and that he could sit in a new spot today. It didn't go over well. I might need to pull out the name tag game. Meaning, I make up fun and colorful signs with each child's name on it, and when they get on the bus, they have to find the seat with their name on it and sit in that seat. It doesn't always work, but a good percentage of the time it does!
I imagine he'll love me again tomorrow. He'll get over it. He's 4. And like I said before, how bad could it be??
PS...Carene, when are you going to update? I miss reading about you guys!
