It's been a LONG time since I've sat down in front of the computer and blogged. Days, weeks, months even!
It hasn't been for a lack of anything interesting to write. Since my last post I've been to California and Victoria (wait patiently for Karyn's coming blog but make sure you have a cup of coffee or another beverage of choice while reading it as it's going to be LONG) and this past weekend we went out on our first hike. We climbed Mt. Burke which is located just west of Longview in Kananaskis country. As per norm, we hiked with our great friends Kevan and Leah and had a great time. The weather was beautiful with some clouds that offered great contrast for pictures. At the top of Mt. Burke is an abandoned fire look-out that we took some shots at and then hiked back down. Upon completion we came back to our place for our usual steak dinner apres the hike for a little wind-down.
I've added some pictures below. After continuous requests from Kevan I've started a Zooomr site which has a few more pictures. You can get to it by going to http://beta.zooomr.com/photos/43055@Z01
