Clearly, I am rather excited about leaving Calgary for a road trip to the US of A! We're going to be gone a whole 5 days! We'll be leaving Thursday morning to head down to Montana for a couple nights, then spend a day driving from there through Idaho a bit, and up through the BC Kootenays.
I'm looking forward to a restful, rejuvenating, fun 5 days :) Hopefully we'll have lots of opportunities for picture-taking! Saturday and Sunday nights will be spent with our dear friends in Salmon Arm, and we'll head home Monday morning at some point.
Here's a shot of the "Grizzly Cabin" we're staying at in Hungry Horse, Montana...cute, eh? 
We were thinking we might spend a night in Nelson or Castlegar, BC on the way to Salmon Arm, but each B&B we tried either didn't exist or wasn't open for the season. Weird. But that's ok, 'cause now we're spending TWO nights with our wonderful friends in Salmon Arm! YAY! Alright...I think that's all for now! Pictures to come when we get home!

In Hungry Horse go by the Hungry Horse dam which is a pretty amazing spectacle...It looks like Hoover only it is not Hoover.
Also watch out for the place on the highway near there with the sign that says. Bear Park - where YOUR CAR IS YOUR CAGE.
