Pelicans!

Ok, so these birds are definitely not very attractive, but they're different from the norm (ie. magpies, crows, seagulls) and they only come once a year. I felt a trip to the Bow River was in order for a bit of a photoshoot a couple weeks ago (before the hard drive crash!) I was lucky these photos were still on my camera and not transfered to the computer. I was also able to soak in the sun as it was a beautiful day outside.
Here are 12 pictures of the 150 I took. Yes, I said 150. I was there a long time.
